Upgraded to XP and need help getting display settings right?

I recently upgraded from Mill. to XP and ever since my displays seem so much darker. Especially sites like myspace where there are lots of images. I called tech support and they told me where to set the resolutions and such but it didn't change anything. It looks like there is to much red/black tint in some of the pics or maybe like the screen needs a brightness adjustment but its as high as it goes. HELP I'm almost tempted to take it back off and waste alot of money cause it's actually worse than before.........suggestions please

I think your monitor is stating to go on the fritz, or you always play with the brightness setting on your computer which is located on the monitor somewhere in the front.

You have to reinstall your graphics driver.You should have a driver disc to install the software for your graphics to work.
