so here is my layout code, but it makes my default picture (like my profile picture) just black, if i "highlight" the profile pic i can see it but how do i make it always visible just tell me what to change, i hav ealready made tweaks on text color but i cant figure this one out...thanks

LOL, unfortunately that's what most of the Myspace code I have seen looks like. I haven't seen one yet that wasn't convoluted.
BOS.... Can you give us a link to the page you are working on so we can see if we can help you out? Unfortunately, with the css in the condition it is in, it's impossible to figure out what goes with what, without seeing it all.

Okay, that code is way to convoluted. Whatever "generator" you used obviously wasn't written by someone who knew what they were doing. I would just totally start over, and write your own theme out by hand (that's how professionals do it, you know). Check this out to learn how to make CSS stylesheets that will let you customize your myspace page.
